The First Step to Real Change? Delegitimize the System in Your Mind
No revolution ever started by defending the king
You want change? Real, deep, systemic change?
Then start here: delegitimize the existing power structure in your mind.
That’s the first move. Always has been.
Until enough conservatives and Christians finally stop clinging to the U.S. Constitution like it’s some kind of life preserver tossed into stormy seas, nothing will change. And I mean nothing. Because you’re still playing on the enemy’s turf, with the enemy’s rules, under the illusion that you can somehow “take it back.”
Let me be blunt: you can’t. The Constitution is not broken. It’s not being misused. It’s doing exactly what it was designed to do, i.e. centralize power, expand federal control, and legitimize rule by a small elite.
And here’s the tragic irony: those who wave the Constitution the hardest are often the last to see this.
They are told, “Hang in there. Vote harder. Rally the troops. File a lawsuit. Pray for a good Supreme Court.” As if the system will work if we just do it “the right way.” Where have we heard that before?
Oh, that’s right…from the Communists. They say the same thing about the Soviet Union. “It wasn’t real communism. If we just implement it correctly, it’ll work!” And here we are, watching Christians and conservatives repeat the same delusional thinking.
The left understands the game far better. They control every institution wrapped in constitutional legitimacy, courts, bureaucracies, universities, public education, entertainment, many evangelical churches, the media—and they use those institutions to reinforce the illusion that “our system can still work.” Why? Because as long as you believe that, you won’t leave it.
Step one of any peaceful revolution is mental. Delegitimize the throne. Take the crown off its head. Realize the “king” has no clothes.
Until you see the Constitution not as a sacred covenant, but as a man-made document that enabled our current mess, not much else matters. And nothing will change for the good. Change will continue of course, but not good change. You will soon be in a tech prison where the Warden is the Federal Government. You’re already in Level IV of it, on the way to Level X, total control.
So, it starts in your mind. YES! YOUR MIND!
Because as long as you believe the system is redeemable, you’ll keep playing by its rules. And you’ll keep losing.
And one way to reveal that you still believe this system of government, and the Constitution that created it are legitimate? You roll your eyes at this Substack!
Now, if you already have delegitimized this system in your mind or you’re willing to, then please sound off in the comment section.
AMEN!
"So, it starts in your mind."
"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying arguments and *all* arrogance raised against the knowledge of God, and we are taking *every* thought captive to the obedience of Christ." (2 Corinthians 10:4-6)
"Until enough conservatives and Christians finally stop clinging to the U.S. Constitution like it’s some kind of life preserver tossed into stormy seas, nothing will change. And I mean nothing."
Except for the worse! America will continue to advance toward the precipice of moral depravity and destruction, as demonstrated by the historical record of the last 237 years when the biblically abominable Constitution was adopted as the law of the land in place of the Bible's triune perfect law of liberty - that is, the Ten Commandments and their respective statutes and civil judgments, per Psalm 19:7-11, 119:44-45, James 2:12, etc.
For more on how the Bible's triune and integral moral law (the Ten Commandments and their respective statutes and judgments) apply and should be implemented as the law of the land, see free online book "Law & Kingdom: Their Relevance Under the New Covenant" at https://www.bibleversusconstitution.org/law-kingdomFrame.html

Brother Mark, you’ve hit the heart of the matter. True change can’t come from fighting within a system that’s fundamentally opposed to Yahweh’s Kingdom. The Constitution, as it stands, sets up man’s authority above God’s, enabling the centralization of power and moral decay. Clinging to it as some sacred text only keeps us trapped in the enemy’s game.
The real revolution must start in the mind—breaking free from the illusion that this man-made document can save us or restore righteousness. We need to recognize that no earthly system will deliver true justice apart from submission to Yahweh’s Law, the perfect and eternal standard revealed in Scripture. Only then can we begin to build a society grounded in His truth.
Until Christians wake up to this, they’ll keep cycling through disappointment, hoping courts or politicians will fix what the Constitution was designed to break. The path forward is clear: reject the false throne, renew our minds in God’s Word, and courageously live and work for His Kingdom rule here and now.
